SEEKING BUSINESS SUPPORT OFFICER (BSO)
- CURRENT June 2026
Business Support Officer
Demasi Consulting is seeking a capable and solutions-focused Business Support Officer to help support the day-to-day operations of a growing psychology and consulting practice.
This is not a traditional administration role.
The position sits at the intersection of customer service, operational coordination, stakeholder management and business support. The role is ideally suited to someone who enjoys creating order, improving systems, solving problems and helping a professional services business operate at its best.
Working closely with the Director and clinical team, you will play a key role in supporting referral management, stakeholder communication, workflow coordination, process improvement and service delivery.
The successful applicant will be trusted with significant responsibility and autonomy and will become an important part of a boutique, values-driven team committed to delivering high-quality psychological and consulting services.
About You
You are mature, reliable, calm and solutions-focussed. You are quick to learn.
You enjoy taking ownership of your work and are comfortable managing competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
You demonstrate strong judgement, emotional intelligence and discretion and are capable of identifying issues, anticipating needs and following matters through to completion.
You communicate professionally and confidently with a wide range of stakeholders and understand that responsiveness, reliability and attention to detail contribute directly to the reputation of a business.
You are naturally organised, curious and proactive. Rather than simply processing tasks, you enjoy understanding how systems, workflows and priorities fit together and are motivated to improve them over time.
You will ideally bring:
-
Five or more years' experience in senior administration, office management, executive support, operations support or comparable roles.
-
Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-
Demonstrated ability to manage confidential and sensitive information.
-
Strong organisational and workflow management skills.
-
Confidence engaging with professionals across healthcare, corporate and government environments.
-
Experience within healthcare, psychology, allied health or other regulated sectors (highly regarded).
-
Experience with practice management systems, CRM platforms or business systems (highly regarded).
If you see yourself reflected in the qualities above and are looking for an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution within a professional and supportive team, I would welcome a conversation.
